Acne Home Remedies - Get Instant Relief of Acne Blemishes With These Highly Effective Remedies
February 28, 2010 at 11:59 AM

It is breakfast time! You are ready to go to school and mom serves you your favorite breakfast meal! Milk, eggs, bacon and toast with honey. Yummy! Well, at least something cheered you up for the day. After having breakfast, and as you walk towards the school bus, you somehow have this choking feeling. It's like something somewhere inside is not making you want to go to school, much worse, not even get on that bus. Why is this happening?

Because once other kids see you, you will be endlessly tormented by their name calling. Your acne is just too bad that you are now the center of everyone's jokes. This is not funny at all, and what's sad, more than 50 percent of teens all over the world experience the same thing.

What's comforting to know though that the treatment to acne doesn't all the time involve expensive dermatological enhancements, though for extreme cases, it will be considered. But why go through the extremes when there are simpler and I'd say bette! r ways of dealing with it. Believe it or not, acne can be treated even at home. What you have been having for breakfast all these times may well be the answer to your prayers.

Who would've thought that the milk you drank and the honey you put on your toast would be one of the remedies? Both are packed with antioxidants known to fight off free radicals and kill germs that contribute to the build up of acne.

The only thing you have to do is to have either a milk or honey mask twice a day. Get a piece of clean cloth and dab it on your face and let it stay there for around 10 minutes then rinse it off with warm water and mild soap. Do this before leaving for school and before going to bed. You will see results in no time. Now, people will be looking at you, not because of ridicule, but because everyone wants to be your friend- even their partner to the prom!

Home Remedies For Acne - Fast Safe and Effective Remedies For Instant Relief of Acne
February 28, 2010 at 11:59 AM

There are several ways to remedy your acne at home. Most of the things you need can easily be found stowed somewhere near your favorite fruit, vegetable or spices. You will see. Now here are some of the sure fire ways to remedy your acne without even leaving home:

* Tea tree oil- how is this going to help you with acne? It consists of a constituent called terpinen- 4- ol which gives the tea tree oil its anti bacterial capability. To be a little scientific about how it helps in the treatment, it kills a certain kind of bacteria which is Proprionibacterium acnes which of course causes acne. You need not to know that, but it pays to know that a simple oil can kill and can kill fast.

* Take multi vitamins on a regular basis- your multivitamins contains a good dose of Vitamin E which is known to make the skin glow and supple, and younger looking. It also aids in fighting off bacteria build up which causes the formation of acne.

* Apply milk mask once or twi! ce a day- milk is good source of vitamins not only for the bones but also for the skin, specifically the face. Milk tightens the skin and soften the acne. If done religiously, this is even enough to make it go away.

* Avoid touching your face- your hands are dirty, we have to accept that. Holding money, holding on to the railings of stairs, and the list goes on an on. Your face should be free from dirt, and by even simply touching it aggravates the skin, and making the risk of more acne breakouts to take place.

* Wash twice a day with your dermatologist recommended acne soap- this is important because your acne soap mostly contains zinc which no doubt kills the bacteria responsible for your acne.

It's often hard to know whether your stage of acne is serious and what you need to do to control it. The less severe cases can usually be controlled by over-the-counter scrubs and creams and a healthy diet. More severe cases may need a doctors' care. Here's rundown of the stages and what is usually needed to control them.

Stage Zero - Stage zero acne is very common and occurs at sometime in 95% to 98% of us. It is identified by breakouts that include small white heads and black heads and sometimes inflammation. Conscientious cleaning and a healthy diet is usually all it takes to control acne at this stage. Untreated, acne usually progresses, s! o getting it under control quickly is very important.

Stage One - Stage one acne looks just like stage zero, just with more pimples and/or frequent breakouts. If you've been conscientious about controlling you stage zero acne and it just gets worse, it's time to try an over-the-counter acne scrub and possibly a cream for break-outs.

Stage Two - Stage Two is recognized by additional pimples known as papules that are skin lesions which are solid and raised but usually small. Stage two acne is usually controllable with over the counter products that contain salicylic acid. It is often best to use a regimen of products that include a wash or scrub, an astringent and a cream or moisturizer.

Stage Three - Acne in stage three looks like stage two, but with more frequent or continuous breakouts. If your acne becomes continuous or does not seem to respond to your stage two regimen, it's time to let your doctor check it out.

Stages Four and Five - Like the pre! vious stages, stages four and five look a lot alike, but diffe! r in the frequency of break-outs. Pustules begin to appear and it's definitely time to visit a dermatologist.

Stages Six and Seven - Nodules and cysts begin to form in these stages. Scarring will soon follow. The dermatologist will begin to take more serious measures.

Stage Eight - Stage eight acne occurs when stage seven acne becomes severe and continuous. Thankfully today there are technologies and treatments that are effective even for stage eight acne. However, the best defense against stage eight acne is conscientious treatment in the early stages. And never forget the importance of a following a healthy diet and drinking lots of water. Good Luck!

Let's face it, having acne sucks. Even as you get older, you can still get it. It's embarrassing. And it makes you not want to go out in public. But the good news is there are some simple things that you can do to help your acne.

I suffer acne really bad growing up. It was so bad that I was on some very strong medication to try to clear it up. How strong was a medication I was on? I had to have my blood drawn regularly to check my liver. That's how strong, and that is why I want to give you this advice.

The first thing that you need to do is get into the habit of washing your hands much more frequently. As we handle objects throughout the day we tend to pick up grease on our fingers. If you don't wash your hands frequently you will end up transferring this grease to your face. And that isn't good for your skin.

The next thing you need to do is start washing your bedding more often. When you sleep, oil on your face gets on your bedding which then gets t! ransferred back to your skin every night. By washing your sheets regularly you can avoid this.

You also need to watch what you eat. The old saying you are what you eat is so true. Avoid greasy foods and try to eat more fruits. You also want to drink plenty of water to keep your skin healthy and lubricated.

You are reading this article because you are in search for the best acne treatment cures. It is important to remember that what you do may diminish or aggravate the healing capacities of your skin. Our skin has its own healing process and by enhancing this capacity and keeping the process to take place, you can get rid of acne for good. This article will discuss the things that you should and should not do before your acne becomes worse.

Skin picking

It is truly tempting to pick or squeeze those nasty little pimples in your face. However, you are more likely to make things worse with the existing inflammation. The puss may get dipper and wider into your skin. It is better to leave it to the professionals because they know how to deal with blackheads and whiteheads.

Smoking

Smoking is a total wreak then it comes to your health. By giving up smoke, you are giving up the chances of cancer, heart disease and other diseases. Smoking starves the cells ! from the precious oxygen making it more difficult for cells to rejuvenate and heal themselves.

Vitamin A

Too much Vitamin A in your body is not health and could cause liver problems in the long run. Small doses present in green fruit and vegetables are good enough for your skin and body.

Over the counter medications

Treating your acne problems with over the counter medicines could worsen your situation. It is always a bad idea to self medicate yourself and applying creams and ointments without talking to your dermatologist.

Using topical steroids

Using over the counter cortisone creams can worsen your acne problem. They are normally advertised to treat adult acne but do not attempt to solve the cause of the condition. You might feel happy because the acne is gone for good only to know that they come back after a few months worse than the original.

Antibiotics

Like topical steroids, constant use of antibiotics will worsen the p! roblem and could pose damage to your health. Antibiotics are k! nown to destroy bacterial in your body, good or bad, which could have a detrimental effect on your liver - an important organ for skin regeneration.

Shaving with Razor blades

Surprisingly, shaving with razor blades could irritate the skin and worsen the situation. Try to use shavers with only 1 blade instead of 3 or 4.
